I am Mason Soper, the owner and personal trainer at Evolution Training, a personal training studio in Morris, IL. I can guide you on that journey to your best self because I have traveled that path myself.
A decade ago, I was a high school football player who couldn't keep weight on. A year and two lengthy hospitals stays later, I found out why: Ulcerative Colitis.
My doctors explained that I would have to be on a regiment of drugs for the rest of my life, and based on the severity of my attacks that intestinal surgery was a likely possibility.
I refused to accept that diagnosis.
I threw myself into researching the disease. I became obsessed with my health. I made radical adjustments to my diet. And a few years later, to my doctors' amazement, my Colitis had gone into full remission. Since 2018, I have been Colitis free and free of a Colitis drug regiment.
That journey created a fanatical desire for full autonomy over my health. And it lit a fire to shape my own personal fitness. So I pivoted from battling a disease to building my best self in the gym.
Now, 5 years later, I have decided to leverage my expertise in fitness, nutrition, & health to provide the best personal training experience in Morris, IL and to guide you along your own journey to your best self.

That might sound a bit bold, but I'm dead serious. I used health & nutrition knowledge to defeat an auto-immune disease and then developed a expertise in fitness to build my best self.
And I know I can replicate that success with you.

Whoever you are, I want to help you meet your goals, but everyone has individual fitness, nutrition, and health needs that can't be met with a cookie cutter approach.
So I created Evolution Training to be your personal training solution in Morris, IL. That means 1) I will tailor fitness to your individual needs, and 2) I will work in tandem with you to forge your best self.
And fitness is more than just cardio & weightlifting. Fitness is functional movement & strength; it is proper nutrition & supplementation. Its also a few things you may not have considered such as sleep, recovery, and stress management. As such, I will customize a holistic approach to address all your individual needs.

I will then schedule you for a FREE Fitness Evaluation.
At your Evaluation, you will share with me your fitness goals (i.e. lose weight, gain muscle, get a beach body, etc.). I will then do a preliminary evaluation of your physical fitness and ask you questions to learn more about your exercise & nutritional habits plus your overall health. We will then discuss a realistic time frame & fitness schedule for achieving your goals.
Your visit will also give you the opportunity to see the state of the art equipment that I have personally chosen for Evolution Training. And the personal training experience at Evolution Training is unique to the area. You will train one-on-one with me in a completely private space. There is no waiting for a machine or having people watch you workout at Evolution Training.
If you agree that you want to move forward towards becoming your best self, we will setup a personal training schedule that works for you. Prior to your first training session, I will create a customized workout plan that is designed specifically for you and the goals you have set..
Then we get to work building a new you.
